PJF officially joins aviation fuel market
The Petrolimex Jet Fuel Joint Stock Company (PJF) started to officially supply aviation fuel at Tan Son Nhat international airport on February 1, 2010, becoming Vietnam’s second supplier of aviation fuel after the Vietnam Air Petrol Company (Vinapco).
The same day, PJF filled United Airlines aircraft flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Hong Kong with JET-A1 fuel. United Airlines and Japan Airlines were PJF’s first contracts at Tan Son Nhat. PJF has supplied aviation fuel to the Cambodian market since late 2008.

This is a major accomplishment of PJF. Almost two years after its founding, as the company strives to meet the aviation sector’s increasingly strict requirements and standards while facing a dwindling domestic and international aviation market.
At the same time, this is good news for airlines when the aviation fuel market now has another choice offered by the Petrolimex-affiliated fuel provider and it will create a more competitive market and enhance aviation services at Vietnam’s airports.
Under its business strategy, PJF will continue to invest in its technical infrastructural facilities at Da Nang, Noi Bai and other airports to set up a comprehensive supply network to meet the demands of both domestic and international aviation firms.
PJF was established in April 2008 with a chartered capital of 150 billion VND with its founding shareholders being Petrolimex, the Military Petrochemical Company and the Petrolimex Group Commercial Joint Stock Bank (PGBank).
