On November 16, 2024, in Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex/Group – ticker symbol: PLX) was honoured as one of the Top 10 companies with the best corporate governance in the mid-cap group and one of the Top 20 companies with the best Annual Report in the non-financial sector at the Listed Company Awards 2024. The event was organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE).

The event was organised in conjunction with the Annual Listed Companies Conference 2024, attended by representatives from the State Securities Commission leadership, leaders of the Stock Exchanges, the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation, and nearly 300 listed companies, securities companies, fund management companies, and other financial institutions in the market.

The judging panel noted that after nearly six months of thorough evaluation, Petrolimex emerged as one of the top 44 outstanding enterprises, surpassing nearly 700 listed companies on both stock exchanges, and was selected for recognition at the awards ceremony. Since 2022, in HOSE's selection process, Petrolimex has been consecutively honored twice for having the best Annual Report and the best corporate governance.

This result is a continued affirmation and recognition from State management agencies, experts, and investors of Petrolimex's corporate governance model as it approaches the highest standards. Petrolimex is becoming more transparent, more modern, and oriented towards sustainable development, harmonising interests with social and environmental goals, and committing to green energy for a sustainable future.
