On May 14, 2018, the Board of Management of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex/PLX) organised a ceremony to announce the official appointment of two new deputy directors general Nguyen Thanh Son and Nguyen Xuan Hung.

Chairman of Petrolimex Board of Management Pham Van Thanh presides at the ceremony in the presence Board of Management member – Director General Pham Duc Thang; Standing Deputy Secretary of Petrolimex Party Committee Tran Minh Hai; Chairman of Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union Dinh Thai Huong; members of Board of Management, Board of Directors, and Supervisory Board; heads of departments under Board of Management; and heads of professional divisions and departments of the Parent Company – Vietnam National Petroleum Group.

Addressing the ceremony, Petrolimex Chairman Pham Van Thanh highlighted efforts, achievements and experience of the two new deputy directors general and expected that in the new positions the two deputy directors general will join forces with the Group leadership to fulfill Petrolimex development goals in the coming time.

Taking on new duties, the two deputy directors general expressed their since thanks to the trust of Petrolimex leaders at all levels, promising to uphold their knowledge and experience to closely work with the Group leadership and the whole staff and labourers to make Petrolimex a strong economic group.
