As part of their cooperation and development plan, Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex/PLX) and Japan’s JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation (JXTG) – Petrolimex’s strategic shareholder jointly organised the second annual high-level meeting in Da Nang City in early June, 2018.

Officials in attendance included JXTG President Tsutomu Sugimori, and JXTG Vice President and Petrolimex Management Board member Yoshihiro Sato; and Chairman of Petrolimex Management Board Pham Van Thanh, and Petrolimex Management Board member and Director General Pham Duc Thang.

The two sides reviewed and assessed the results of implementing conclusions reached at the first annual meeting in Tokyo on June 1, 2017, and the results of Kaizen Office’s activities; shared cooperation and business opportunities for the time to come.

The second annual high-level meeting between Petrolimex and JXTG took place with a spirit of frankness and responsibility, demonstrating the fine cooperation between the two sides.

On the occasion, the enterprises’ leaders pledged to have follow-up instructions so that Petrolimex and JXTG would continue working together and supporting each other to perform their tasks; and strengthen working groups to meet requirements for quality and progress of projects.
