Petrolimex hosts meeting with press ahead of 2018
The Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Group/Petrolimex/PLX) organised a 2017 meeting with local press on December 19, 2017 at the Group’s headquarters on No 1 Kham Thien St., Dong Da District, Hanoi.

A great number of journalists/reporters representing more than 30 Central media organisations attended the meeting which also witnessed the attendance of representatives from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA) Ninh Huu Chan, and Hino Motors Vietnam: Deputy Director General Dang Hai Chau, Finance Director Ryo Yamada, Senior Official – Factory Director Nguyen Dang Phuong.
In the intimate atmosphere of the meeting, Petrolimex spokesperson and Deputy Director General Nguyen Quang Dung, on behalf of Petrolimex, expressed gratitude towards State media management bodies and reporters for their understanding and timely coverage, honestly and objectively reflecting business activities as well as efforts and responsibilities of Petrolimex labourers.
Additionally, spokesperson and Deputy Director General Nguyen Quang Dung briefly introduced products that Petrolimex has put on sale, the mineral petrol E5 RON 92 and particularly diesel 0.01S-V (EURO5) – known as the fuel of highest quality in Vietnamese market that Petrolimex is taking the lead in trading: “The trade of diesel level 5 instead of level IV in line with Decision 49/2011/QD-TTg showcases Petrolimex’s efforts to provide consumers with products of highest quality, making an active contribution to environmental protection.”
According to Senior Official – Factor Director at Hino Motors Vietnam Nguyen Dang Phuong said the use of diesel fuel EURO 2 for diesel engine EURO4 will cause serious damage to the engine. Therefore, automobile manufacturers warmly welcome Petrolimex’s supply of diesel 0.001S-V (EURO5) on the local market in line with the then Prime Minister’s Decision No 49/2011/QD-TTg dated September 1, 2011 to limit the exhaust gas emissions into the environment which may cause greenhouse effects, and to protect the environment. As planned as many as 70 per cent of Petrolimex petrol stations across the country will supply diesel 0.001S-V (EURO5), users of diesel engine EURO4 can surely buy the fuel they need.
