Petrolimex, EVN ink cooperation deal
On April 19, 2018, Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Group/Petrolimex/PLX) and Vietnam Electricity (EVN) signed a cooperation agreement at EVN headquarters - No 11 Cua Bac Street, Hanoi.

Attending the signing ceremony were Vice Secretary of the Central Business Bloc’s Party Committee Pham Tan Cong, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai, Petrolimex Party Secretary and Chairman of Management Board Bui Ngoc Bao, EVN Party Secretary and Chairman of Member Council Duong Quang Thanh and members of Petrolimex and EVN leaderships.
The cooperation deal between the two groups is in line with the objectives of both Petrolimex and EVN; demonstrates the proactiveness in implementing the Politburo’s “Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods” campaign; and marks a new step for further strengthening the mutual cooperation.
Petrolimex, and EVN are significant partners in joint venture activities over the past years. With the new agreement, the two sides expect to become reliable partners of each other, and build up long-term and comprehensive cooperation in order to tap market potentials, and strengths in traditional business areas of each side, which helps bring about common interests and contribute to the development of the two leading groups of Vietnam in particular and the development of the national economy in general.
