Following a 12-month implementation of the management software system EGAS-ERP, Petrolimex Aviation Fuel JSC (PA) and Petrolimex Information Technology and Telecommunication JSC (PIACOM) jointly organised a go-live ceremony to officially put the software system into use today at PA’s office on the 6th floor, Mipec Building, 229 Tay Son Road, Hanoi.

The event witnessed the participation of Petrolimex Board of Management member and Deputy Director General, Tran Ngoc Nam; Director General of Petrolimex Transportation Services Corporation, Doan Van Thu; Petrolimex Board of Management member and PA Director General, Pham Van Thanh; PIACOM Director, Phan Thanh Son; and representatives from the board of directors, leaders of divisions/departments and EGAS_ERP project members from both companies.

Addressing the ceremony, PA Director General Pham Van Thanh highly appreciated the efforts of the two companies’ Board of Management of the project and expressed his confidence in the capacity and experience of PIACOM as the company has implemented corporate management projects both at home and abroad over the past years. To make EGAS_ERP a crucial tool in the organisation of production and business activities, PA will have to undertake, exploit and operate the system. Thanh expected that PIACOM would continue to stand by PA to ensure that the EGAS_ERP solution meets the increasing management requirements at PA.

On this part, PIACOM Director Phan Thanh Son thanked the PA leadership for their trust and choice of PIACOM as the partner to implement the project; thanked the PA staff for having well co-ordinated with PIACOM project team over the past time. Son affirmed that the corporate management resource solution provided to PA by PIACOM is currently the latest, most complete and most advanced version in the market. PIACOM committed to work with PA in the process of using, maintaining, and guaranteeing the software so that EGAS_ERP will take PA to the new height.

Petrolimex Deputy Director General Tran Ngoc Nam congratulated the successful co-operation between PA and PIACOM. He spoke highly of PA’s decision to choose PIACOM as the partner to carry out the EGAS_ERP project. And with that decision, PA has had a resource management system that satisfies information requirements for business operations, and at the same time seriously implemented Petrolimex Board of Management’s resolution on prioritising the use of sector’s products and services. He urged PIACOM to quickly complete the product and continue to perform the warranty and maintenance to maximise functions of the EGAS_ERP system.

The PIACOM’s EGAS_ERP software is put into use at the headquarters and five branches of PA. EGAS_ERP is an Internet-based software designed as a data concentrator which helps management bodies at all levels get access to information from afar through smart devices such as laptop, tablet, and smart phones, etc., timely satisfying demands for information for production and business management. Of note, EGAS_ERP is designed to easily integrate into the Automation system in order to improve labour productivity and make oil and gas business activities much more transparent. EGAS_ERP will be an effective solutions for PA’s business management.
