Central Economic Commission delegation pays a working visit to Nha Be Terminal
On May 5, 2023, a delegation of the Steering Committee for Project “Assessing the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution 41-NQ/TW dated July 23, 2015 orientating the development strategy for Vietnam’s oil and gas industry to 2025, with a vision to 2035” (Resolution No 41-NQ/TW) led by Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission Nguyen Duc Hien paid a working visit to Petrolimex Sai Gon at the Nha Be Oil Terminal.
Besides the Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, the delegation included Acting Deputy Head of the Department of Industry - Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, Nguyen Ngoc Trung; Deputy Head of the Department of Industry - Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, Hoang Thi Huong; Deputy Head of the Department of Oil, Gas and Coal – Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ngo Thuy Quynh; and secretaries of the project building team.
At the working session, both sides had frank discussions, concentrating on important issues. A representative of Petrolimex Sai Gon made a brief report on the results of ensuring the supply and reserve of the national energy source, and proposed recommendations to continue increasing the efficiency of works in the coming time.
On behalf of the delegation, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission – Permanent Member of the Steering Committee on Resolution No 41-NQ/TW, Nguyen Duc Hien said the delegation would take note of the recommendations and asked Petrolimex to provide more information to clarify the recommendations.
On the occasion, the delegation conducted a site visit to examine technical facilities and learn about the actual import, export and storage of petroleum at Nha Be Oil Terminal.
