Following President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching that “Spring is the time for tree planting to make the country more and more beautiful” and celebrating the 90th anniversary of “Traditional Day of Vietnam Revolutionary Petroleum Industry” (March 13, 1928 – March 13, 2018), leaders and employees of Petrolimex Lam Dong organised a tree-planting ceremony at the petrol stations No 3, 7, and 19 on February 2.

Along with the planting and tending trees at petrol stations around the year to create beautiful surroundings and protect environment, the tree growing in spring at the beginning of each year has always been paid due attention to by the company’s leaders.

The practice aims to raise better awareness among the company staff of environmental protection whilst making surroundings green and clean, encouraging the community to stay close to the nature, feeling the beauty and significance of trees to life.

The tree-planting festival is not only a tradition but a fine cultural feature of the nation, a mission that kicks-start each new year. The activity also helps facilitate emulation movement and create a vibrant working environment to strive for objectives, tasks and plans set for 2018.
